Sometime our plans with our family during the weekends doesn’t exactly go as planned. We want to breathe in the fresh air and bath ourselves under the rays of the Sun but, that didn’t happen. Clouds of grey comes rolling in covering the bright light of the Sun and drips of water falling from the sky that signify the plan is cancel.
However, not all is lost. There’s plenty of activities to do indoor with the family and one of them is not binge watching. Think about it, what fun activities we can do with our family indoors? Tons of it! Obviously we’re not going to do all of it in one day, we’re just going to be doing the ones that helps our relationship with our family grow stronger.
Let’s start off with a simple and common way to improve family relationship. Board games. This activity is still consider one of the most easiest way to improve any relationships. It helps strengthen communication between each member and sometimes is good to have a healthy competition.
If board game is not really your family cup of tea, than a simple painting workshop might do the trick. Painting with our family is truly a unique and humourous one. Not only we get to place our painted palm at each other faces, we’re also able to show each member very own creativity through paper or silk.
A simple lesson in the kitchen can help the bonding between a mother and her son. When in the kitchen, not only she teaches him how to cook, but also at the same time teach him the value of being kind towards those who are less fortunate – both people and animals.
Normally is the mother who teaches her daughter about makeup 101, but maybe it’s time to give it a change. A relationship between a father and his daughter is one that is very protective. By so, this activity could be a hearty one. With laughs and joy, he can talk to her about loving herself and always stand for something that she believes in while they’re giving each other a makeover.
Don’t we all think is time to give our parents a break from their hectic work life? Let’s give them a break and work on simple house chores that keep our home spotless. Maybe the brother can wash the plates and the sister dries them. Its good that siblings have a teamwork system because that will help to understand both their strengths and weaknesses.
