Mother’s Day is tomorrow and here are some of the things you can do for mum to show her you thought about her! Also, check out the gifts that you can DIY for her here and the other pretty gifts you can find for her here.
1. Visit her with her bouquet in hand
She’ll be happy that she gets to see you but it’ll be even better when you come with a thoughtful gift in hand. While flowers are suggested, you can get her anything that she likes really like her favourite cake or a box of chocolates.
2. Get her a good suitcase
If the family travels a lot but she’s still stuck with her old suitcase, perhaps it’s time for an upgrade so she can travel comfortably and safely. Take her to the shops to hunt down for one she likes. Make sure the suitcase is light and durable if possible!
3. Gift her a stylish wine carafe
A beautiful wine carafe can be used as a stylish daily ‘jug.’ It’ll also be handy for mums who like to host parties and guests.
4. Enjoy Afternoon Tea together
Afternoon Tea is great because it’s a laidback affair and it’s a good time to catch up with mum while snacking on tiny treats. There are plenty of places offering Afternoon Tea sets now other than the cafes in hotels.
5. Take her out for a good meal and a show after
Close the house kitchen and take her out for a nice family dinner. To make things interesting, the family can try out a new restaurant or new cuisine together in the city and celebrate. Maybe afterwards the family can head to the cinema or the theatre to catch a good show.
6. Delight her with a pampering session
It’s time for mums to kick back and relax after all she has done for the family. Pamper her by treating her to a massage or spa session where she can wind down and loosen stiff muscles. It can even be a trip to the hair salon for a new look or luxurious nail salon together.
