A former garage and launderette was turned into a beautiful home by designer Ilse Crawford. The Greenhouse is located in Porta Venezia, Italy.
The designs of the house are kept contemporary and minimalist, giving the space a clean and serene ambience. The upgraded house has a fully equipped kitchen, a double sofa bed, a bathroom and a wide bedroom that can fit a double bed.
The main door is adorned with creeper plants along the frame, keeping to the greenhouse theme. Upon entering, guests will be greeted by the dining room and kitchen.
The first thing that will draw everyone’s focus in the kitchen is the green tiled wall. Guests will also want to take a look at kitchen table and stools that are topped with cork material.
The green tiled wall separates the dining and kitchen area from the bathroom. Parts of the bathroom walls are tiled with the same green hue. The back to nature interior is paired with wooden receptacles for a complete look.
What about the bedroom?
To save space, two cork-topped and low stools are used as bedside tables. The makeshift bedside tables hold small décor such as a potted plant.
The wardrobe is kept an open concept to make the room feel spacious. A closed wardrobe would make the room feel ‘closed’ in.
As luck would have it, this place is also in Airbnb*!
