When we think of beautiful living spaces, we often think of huge open spaces in large houses. With some interior design tricks and creativity, a small home can look good too just like this tiny home.
Location: Delta, British Columbia
Property Type: Mobile home
Size: 330 square feet
Spaces: 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom
The mobile home is designed with a loft-style in mind. To open up the spaces, the shiplap or panelled walls are painted white. This was especially important in the kitchen area where the space is tighter and is the centre of the home!
In the kitchen, the appliances are made of stainless steel with a farm-style sink to make washing in a small space easier and manageable. The quartz counters provide enough space for food prep.
To consolidate space, the washer and dryer are in the same space as the bathroom. The two sections are separated by the glass shower. Living small and sharing spaces don’t mean the bathroom can’t look good. The shower area has a simple, black rain shower with white subway tiled walls. The floor is covered with black hexagon tiles.
Since the whole house is mostly in whites and browns, potted plants were added to give it some colour and to bring the place ‘alive.’
