As funny as it sounds, the toilet roll is the most important item in the bathroom! So, this indirectly makes the toilet roll holders the second next important item to have. It is also usually one of the most overlooked items when it comes to designing the bathroom so it’s time to turn everyone’s attention towards it.
Here are a few designs that can liven up the look of our bathrooms!
1. Dino holder
If you’re looking for something quirky, just place the toilet roll through a long-necked dinosaur toy. The dinosaur toy has to be large and stable enough to hold the weight of the roll though. This set-up is also a perfect addition in the kid’s bathroom!
2. Stainless steel holder
Instead of the usual plastic holders, the holder in trend now is the stainless steel holder. The open end of the hook makes it easier to change the toilet rolls and we don’t need to fiddle with the plastic tubes anymore. It also gives the bathroom a more urban and modern look.
3. Black hook
Go down a different route and get a black holder! This toilet roll holder is similar to the stainless steel holder but it’s just lacking a flap cover. It provides a minimalist look if households don’t fancy having the cover (an extra item to clean!)
4. Fabric holder
If you don’t intend to change your original holder, just jazz it up by adding a fabric holder. These fabric holders double as storage in the bathroom. You can even make it on your own here. No more sprinting out of the bathroom when you’re out of tissues!
5. Rustic holder
This rustic holder designed by a Japanese company named Metal Works & Design will make a fresh addition to your bathroom. It’s available in brass and stainless steel on their online store.
6. Holder with a tray
Gone are the days where you drop your phone while in the loo! This awesome toilet roll holder comes with a tray to place your phone and other items (maybe your rings?).
7. Artsy concrete shelf
Another way to store toilet roll in bulk in the bathroom is to have an artsy concrete shelf. See if you can stack the toilet rolls and form a cloud.
8. Robot tongue
This is a fun way to hold the toilet rolls. Just imagine the robots sticking their tongues at you when you want to use the toilet! It’s suitable for both the adults and kids.
9. Magnet and string holder
Now we’re really getting the fun stuff. The Hanging Line designed by Josh Owen incorporates a little Science and Art together. The bands and hooks are held together by magnets. Longer versions can be used to hold magazines and towels. It even comes with a hook to hold brushes.
10. Shoelace holder
It’s a different kind of holder because it doesn’t look too static. It is also easily fashioned just by using a shoelace and tie it over a knob, which can be DIY-ed using a Jenga block.
11. Vertical holder
If you really want something different but not too wild, the vertical holder is for you. This way you don’t need to wonder whether you should hang the roll facing this way or the other way round.
