Spruce Up a Bucolic Sanctuary by TG-Studio.
Originally an office and now a modernistic family home with a rustic flair; Mike Penn invested in the architecture with the thought of morphing this dull mundane workplace into something incredible.
Together with TG-Studio, this 3-story property was transformed into a wild creation of comfort and warmth while embracing the spirit of the initial building with exposed brick walls and its industrial descent, with lighting and furnishings to reflect that.
The ‘Mew House’ houses a home office and studio in rustic essence on the first floor, contrasting a minimalistic white and black marbled kitchen that boosts hedonistic flair on the second floor. The final floor incorporates a tranquil-toned bedroom that features the building’s original walls; followed by a sleek, colossal walk-in wardrobe with a custom shelving system that really compliments the slanted roofline.
Promoting the oak floor paneling that meets the tailored light fixtures, steel-framed French doors and windows open up to a modest terrace that towers over the peaceful avenue; aggrandizing the living room by bringing in a gorgeous, retro New York elegance.
