If you own a pair of white sneakers, you’d know the sad truth is they won’t stay white forever. Though most of us hope deep down inside to prolong the inevitable for as long as possible.
Back in school, the biggest hassle for our parents was getting our white shoes clean after we’d mess them up while playing.
Well with this ‘miracle’ cleaning tips, you might find that restoring your white sneakers to their original state to be more than just wish!
The best part is you probably already have all the necessary ingredients in your home right now.
Started by rinsing the dirt off your shoes with water.
Mix 1 part baking soda and 1 and a half parts laundry detergent together. Scrub the shoes with the mixture using a toothbrush, then let them sit.
Finally, rinse them again. Then put them in the washer, or hand wash them with a cloth or brush. After that sprinkle them with baby powder and let them dry. And Viola good as new!
However, if you own leather or synthetic white sneakers, it is recommended that you hand wash them with a mild soap and water.
Then clean the rubber soles and sides with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and let the dirt rub right off.
