Impress with these Fashionable Wood Concepts in Black and White
Home decorating can be such a challenge. Sometimes, simplicity can offer the best results. These two homes are prime examples and show you how it’s done in the best way possible.
This first one by Pavel Voytov is saturated with contrast – color blocking in black, white and light wood easily attracts attention and clearly shows viewers where one part ends and begins. Playing around with textures (kitchen cupboards and centerpiece grey pillar) and patterns (rug and same grey pillar) cleverly adds more character and uniqueness without weighing everything down. The perpendicular fashion in which these aspects are arranged serve to elongate the room and create space and clarity. Beautifully matching furniture and home decorations tie everything neatly together in projecting a calming ambience. Note how majorly this house is defined by straight lines and slim spaces. Modest rectangles in muted tones are all the rage here.
Our second model from Yevhen Zahorodnii offers even more innovation while managing this in even less space! As opposed to Voytov’s two bed-and-bath unit, Zahorodnii created a bachelor pad that truly embraces the single life. Here, blacks and whites take a back seat to honey tones and hushed shades. Long clean lines, special décor, and furnishings that stretch upwards cleverly help create an illusion and feel of more space. Quarter-walls create more rooms to bring the sensation of ‘more’ without the permanent commitment of more actual rooms. The bathroom deviates slightly for a refreshing change with plenty of cool, dark grey in a natural stone texture; complemented nicely by a lighter grey honeycomb pattern on the wall adjacent. The sheer simplicity of an uncomplicated color scheme introduces peace and orderliness to a space that may be devoid of it.
