An implausible hobbit-inspired hut built from scratch by a determined husband and wife team is located outside of Tomach village, Scotland. This home beyond belief represents a passion and love for the ‘Lord Of The Rings’ series and brings literature and film to real life. With hard work and perseverance, the end results were truly unbelievable.
The desire to create their magical promised land prompted the couple to carefully source and piece together incredible, rustic, hand-crafted furnishings imbued with a mystical, Middle Earth charm. With a solid, rounded, concrete exterior shielded by handsome mosses and vines throughout the outer surface, stepping into the world of the Hobbits was just beginning
Prominent use of the wood element was eminent in order to establish a bewitching ambiance of the chimera.
Within this magnificent 2-story home dwells a functional open layout plan of the living, dining, and kitchen space that alleviates the denseness and compactness that is characteristic of Hobbit homes. The upper deck lead by the stunning curved stairs opens up to a cushy single bedroom, bathroom, and modest office.
Hand-crafted art works, distinctive patterns, and textures further helped to transport visitors to the world of J.R.R. Tolkien, and filled the house with a warmth and comfort that offered an appealing charm and personality to every corner of the interior.
