It looks like all your previous hairstyling tools have just been rendered useless as this new, premium device is engineered to help you get the best curls, waves or even glossy, straightened hair effortlessly. The famed vacuum cleaner maker is venturing into the beauty market with its second high-end product after the Dyson hairdryer that had everyone going crazy over it.

The Airwrap Styler was launched on October 9 and the beauty world is already in a frenzy over it as it revolutionises the way you are going to style your hair. It may look like an ordinary curling tong but the Dyson engineers spent six years developing this hairstyling tool so you can expect the results to be mind-blowing.

The Dyson Airwrap Styler works by using the Coanda effect, where a high-speed jet of air attaches itself to a surface, to curl, wave or smooth hair depending on which attachment you choose. Instead of using heat, they harnessed the power of airflow that is similar to a hairdryer. You can choose to style your hair using attachments such as three brush heads for volume and smoothing, two tong sizes for different width waves and curls and a pre-drying styler, that takes hair from wet to damp in just mere minutes.

However, this coveted item has yet to launch in Malaysia and on the official Dyson Malaysia page, the item is only listed as coming soon with no word on its official launch date at the moment. If you are looking to buy one when it hits Malaysian shores, now may be a good time to start saving up because prices start at RM1,999 and go up to RM2,199 for the complete set. Seeing as it costs practically a whole month’s salary, we recommend that you might want to try it out first but it sure looks like a pretty good investment that will render the rest of your hairstyling tools obsolete.
