Taken from the name of their children, the RV house or Rumah Naganara stands proud in Tangerang Selatan, Indonesia. Initially from a single storey house, the owners managed to create their dream house based on their life long inspiration.

From the outside, the house looks unique with 3 different colours on the facade: wood, white and grey. According to the owners, grey and wood represents the desire to have the perfect house and the journey to achieve it. In addition, white colour represents thankfulness and humbleness after achieving their dream house.
Upon entering the house, you can find the raw foyer area with abundance of skylight shining through. The roof opening serves as a sky window and is covered with tempered glass.
Before entering the living area, you will come across a roof shape entrance way which serves as focal point. The entrance way is framed with wood to welcome the guests.
On the other hand, the kitchen area is designed in line with the 3 colours that motivated the owners. Wooden kitchen cabinets with subway tiles are fitted perfectly to give a nice cosy vibe. While dark countertops and chairs are fitted to complete the entire outlook.
Instead of wall, they installed framed glass across the room, bringing in lots of natural lighting to brighten the area. The middle portion is open up to an inner courtyard where potted plants and grass can be planted here.
For the master bedroom, raw concrete walls are seen along with wooden furniture and flooring. Although simple, the bedroom provides a calm and relaxation area for the owners to retire upon a long day of work.
Every part of this house looks inspiring as the owners spend lots of time building it from scratch. The addition of inner courtyard within the house is a master stroke, which brings nature close to their home.
